WHY DO I LOVE MY JOB?
By far, the reason I am so deeply enthusiastic about being a copywriter and marketing content specialist is because of the amazing people I get to work with every day.
Each client has their own unique story to share, and I get to be the person who writes about it!
ANDREA PAYME - The Human Being
I´m a native New Yorker with a jet-black cocker spaniel who moved to Panama in 1999 when I joined the Peace Corps. I served for three years as a Small Business volunteer and an English Language tutor. Before that, I studied in New York University's "15-year Switch Your Major Three Times" program, (Oh, you didn't know they had that program? It was all the rage in the 80s and 90s!), and finally graduated with a BA in International Studies.
Somewhere along the way, I traveled as a backpacker for 1.5 years, became a Corporate Events Planner at the now-defunct Salomon Brothers Investment Bank, and became fluent in Spanish.
After my Peace Corps assignment ended, I opened and successfully operated The Purple House International Backpacker Hostel in David City, Panama. Amongst other things, I learned how to say "the bathroom is that way" in 34 different languages!
Great times and great people but after many years in the corporate world and the tourism industry, I decided to pursue the next chapter:
